Every standards figure on this site — ANSI/SDI performance levels and endurance cycles, ANSI/BHMA hardware grades, ADA opening force and closing speed limits, IBC egress forces and NFPA 80 clearances — was checked against a live source on 13 September 2026 and is published with its designation attached. Standards are revised on their own schedules and local amendments can be stricter. Confirm against the edition your authority having jurisdiction enforces before relying on any of it for a submission.

Deliberate omissions

Where sources disagree on a figure, this site omits it rather than picking one. The clearest example is lock cycle counts: we cite ANSI/BHMA A156.2 and A156.13 and their grade structure, and publish no cycle number, because the published counts vary by series and by edition.
